Trump Signs $600 Billion in Defense and Tech Deals with Saudi Arabia

During his official visit to Riyadh, President Donald Trump signed a series of defense and commercial agreements with Saudi Arabia totaling $600 billion. The deals mark a significant expansion of U.S.–Saudi economic and strategic cooperation.

According to a statement from the White House, the agreements include large-scale arms sales, joint military development initiatives, and substantial Saudi investments in U.S. technology sectors, particularly artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.

“This is a historic partnership that strengthens security and creates jobs for both our nations,” Trump said, emphasizing the importance of innovation and defense collaboration in the face of regional threats.

Saudi officials praised the agreements as a step toward modernization and deeper integration with Western economies. The deals are expected to benefit major U.S. firms such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and several AI-driven tech companies.

The announcement came shortly after Trump declared the lifting of all sanctions on Syria, signaling a broader shift in U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
