Nine women accuse Jared Leto of sexual misconduct

American actor and musician Jared Leto is facing serious allegations from nine women, some of whom claim the misconduct occurred when they were underage. The reports were published on June 7, 2025, in major media outlets including Air Mail, People, The Guardian, and Entertainment Weekly.

The accusations include sexually explicit phone calls, unsolicited messages, incidents of nudity, and inappropriate behavior toward teenage girls. One woman claimed she met Leto at 16 and that he pressured her to exchange phone numbers and would call her late at night. Another accuser said Leto exposed himself to her when she was 17. Several others reported experiencing unwanted sexualized attention from the actor before reaching the age of 18.

One of the accusers, Laura La Rue, stated she met Leto in 2008 at the age of 16, and a year later, while visiting his studio, he allegedly walked out completely naked. DJ Allie Teilz also alleged she was assaulted backstage when she was 17, calling the encounter predatory and frightening.

Many of the women described a consistent pattern of behavior, claiming Leto intentionally targeted younger women. Some said his conduct was an ‘open secret’ in Hollywood. Several accusers noted they were invited to private events or hotel rooms by Leto.

Leto’s representatives have denied all accusations, calling them false and insisting that his interactions were neither inappropriate nor sexual. They also disputed specific claims, such as an alleged job application mentioned by one of the women. As of now, no criminal investigations or legal charges have been announced.

The accusations have sparked wide discussion in media and online. Jared Leto has not personally responded to the allegations publicly.
