Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has arrived in Istanbul to attend a meeting with diplomats from the Arab League, aiming to discuss the escalating conflict between Tehran and Israel. The report was published by Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
According to the agency, approximately 40 diplomats are expected to participate in the weekend gathering, which is organized under the auspices of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
“Araqi arrived in Istanbul this morning to take part in the OIC foreign ministers’ meeting,” Tasnim reported.
The trip follows Araqchi’s meeting a day earlier in Geneva with his counterparts from the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
“At Iran’s request, the meeting will specifically address the Zionist regime’s attack on our country,” Araqchi stated, according to Tasnim.
