IT HAS BECOME KNOWN WHO SPENDS THE MOST TIME LOOKING AT THEIR PHONE SCREEN

Around the world, people spend an average of 4 hours and 37 minutes a day looking at their smartphone screens, checking them about 58 times a day, according to Statista.

The leaders in screen time are the residents of Ghana — over 5 hours 43 minutes daily. They are followed by the Philippines (5 hours 21 minutes) and Brazil (5 hours 12 minutes).

In Europe, Russians took first place — they spend an average of 4 hours and 7 minutes a day on their smartphones, which corresponds to 17th place in the world ranking. Next come Turkey (4 hours and 4 minutes, 18th place) and Bulgaria (3 hours and 4 minutes, 22nd place).

The most ‘restrained’ among Europeans are the Danes, with an average of only 2 hours 27 minutes per day.
