Polish President Andrzej Duda has stated that Donald Trump represents the best opportunity to end the war in Ukraine. In a recent interview with international media, Duda emphasized that the former U.S. president’s approach could lead to a quicker resolution of the conflict.
According to Duda, Trump’s assertive and unpredictable style has the potential to pressure both sides into negotiations. He also highlighted that during Trump’s presidency, Russia did not invade Ukraine, suggesting that this period represented a form of geopolitical stability.
Duda acknowledged that not everyone agrees with Trump’s views or methods, but insisted that the priority should be finding a path to peace. “We must do everything to stop the war. If Trump can make that happen, the world should listen,” he said.
His remarks come amid growing debates in Europe and the U.S. about future support for Ukraine and what role global leaders can play in ending the conflict.
