23 Soldiers, One UFO, and a Blast of Light: The Weirdest CIA File Yet

Declassified CIA Report Details Alleged UFO Encounter Resulting in Soviet Soldiers’ Petrification…

A declassified CIA document has surfaced, detailing an alleged encounter between Soviet soldiers and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) during the late 1980s. According to the report, Soviet troops stationed in Ukraine observed a low-flying, saucer-shaped craft during a routine training exercise. In response, one of the soldiers launched a surface-to-air missile, reportedly striking the UFO and causing it to crash.

Following the crash, five humanoid beings with large heads and black eyes allegedly emerged from the wreckage. Survivors claimed that these entities merged into a single spherical object, which then emitted a bright light. This light purportedly turned 23 soldiers into stone, leaving only two survivors who were shielded from the blast.

The report states that the petrified soldiers and the damaged spacecraft were transported to a secret research facility near Moscow. Soviet scientists allegedly concluded that an unknown energy source had transformed the soldiers’ biological structures into a limestone-like substance. The CIA document notes the potential threat posed by such advanced technology.

Experts have expressed skepticism regarding the authenticity of the report. Former CIA officer Mike Baker suggested that the document may have been distorted over time. Additionally, the report’s origins trace back to publications known for sensational stories, raising questions about its credibility.

The resurfacing of this document aligns with a growing public interest in unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). Recent years have seen increased efforts by governmental agencies to investigate and declassify information related to UAPs, contributing to ongoing discussions about extraterrestrial life and advanced technologies.
