Beyoncé gives away tickets after UK “Cowboy Carter” shows fail to sell out

Beyoncé has begun distributing unsold tickets from her six-date UK leg of the Cowboy Carter tour, after the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows did not sell out.

The UK performances, held this week, saw many seats remain available despite a 62,000‑capacity venue. With ticket prices initially ranging up to £950, demand lagged, prompting promoters to dramatically cut prices hours before showtime and ultimately donate unsold tickets to food banks and families in need.

Critics cite steep prices, market saturation with other major tours, and possible “concert fatigue” following Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance tour as contributing factors. Resale ticket prices across some performances fell below £60 in secondary markets.

Despite slower sales, early reviews praised the Cowboy Carter UK shows as powerful, theatrical, and visually compelling—featuring Western-themed stage elements, family performances alongside her daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi, and personal protest messages woven into the set.

Ticketmaster and Live Nation confirmed demand remains strong overall, with reports that the wider tour is approximately 94% sold according to official sources.
