Colorado Governor Jared Polis addressed the recent attack on demonstrators marching in support of Israeli hostages in the city of Boulder, calling the assault an ‘act of terror’ and expressing his support for the victims.
‘I am closely monitoring developments in Boulder. My thoughts are with the injured and all those affected by this despicable act of terror. Acts of hatred in any form are unacceptable,’ Polis stated.
The governor added that the state is working in close coordination with local and federal law enforcement agencies to support the investigation. According to him, ensuring public safety and delivering justice remain top priorities.
The incident, in which Molotov cocktails were used, occurred during a peaceful rally organized to support Israeli hostages. According to the investigation, the perpetrator acted out of ideological motives, shouting slogans against Zionism and in support of Palestine.
