Authorities in New Hampshire have reported that one person was killed and several others were injured in a shooting at a country club in Nashua on the evening of September 20 (U.S. time).
A suspect in the incident has been arrested. Surveillance camera footage showed that the shooter acted alone.
New details about the event have also emerged. An eyewitness said that the shooter shouted pro-Palestinian slogans, including “Free Palestine.”
The witness added that he saw the suspect in a restaurant adjacent to a wedding hall, where someone hit him on the head with a chair. After that, the shooter, who was bleeding, tried to flee.
Earlier reports stated that the shots were fired inside the club’s restaurant during a private event, presumably a wedding. A guest managed to hit the attacker with a chair, after which the suspect attempted to escape through the kitchen but was apprehended by police on the premises.
