Oleksandr Usyk Announces Retirement After Two Final Fights

Ukrainian boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk has announced that he will retire from professional boxing after completing two more fights.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Usyk said: “I feel like I have just two more fights left in me. Just two.”

The first of the remaining bouts is expected to be a rematch against Daniel Dubois, scheduled for July 19, 2025, at Wembley Stadium in London. Their previous encounter in 2023 ended with a win for Usyk by knockout.

Usyk, who currently holds the undisputed heavyweight championship, did not reveal the opponent for his final career bout. However, speculation continues regarding a possible clash with Tyson Fury to unify the titles definitively.
