According to a report by Reuters, the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces was killed in an Israeli military strike carried out as part of the ongoing operation against Iran. General Mohammad Bagheri, who held the position of Chief of Staff since 2016, was reportedly killed when Israeli aircraft targeted a senior command facility near Tehran. According to sources familiar with the strike, the location was used for high-level military coordination and decision-making.
