The British Meteorological Service has named the Spanish island of Lanzarote, part of the Canary Islands, the most suitable place for an October holiday, Express reports.
According to forecasters, the weather here remains comfortable in October: the average daytime temperature reaches 26.8°C, and at night it drops to 19°C. There is practically no precipitation – on average, only one rainy day per month, and the wind speed drops to 18 km / h, which makes the climate especially pleasant.
Lanzarote remains a popular destination all year round, but it is in October that the island becomes calmer and less crowded with tourists. This makes it attractive both for young people looking for nightlife and entertainment in Puerto del Carmen, and for families with children who prefer Costa Teguise. For those looking for a more secluded getaway, Playa Blanca is the place to go, while those looking to experience the authenticity of the Canary Islands should head to Arrecife.
