U.S. Army to Hold Military Parade on Trump’s Birthday, June 14

The U.S. Army has confirmed that a large-scale military parade will take place in Washington, D.C. on June 14, 2025 — the 79th birthday of former President Donald Trump. The event will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Army.

The parade is set to feature approximately 6,600 service members, 150 military vehicles, and 50 helicopters. It will run from the Pentagon to the National Mall and include historical reenactments from key American wars, such as the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World Wars I and II, and modern-day operations. Festivities will also include fireworks, concerts, skydiving displays by the Golden Knights, and performances by military bands.

This event marks the fulfillment of a long-standing vision Trump expressed after attending the Bastille Day parade in France in 2017. During his first term, similar plans for a military parade were scrapped due to high costs and opposition from local officials.

The June 14 parade is part of the lead-up to the 250th anniversary of American independence in 2026 and is being promoted as a unifying celebration of national history and future aspirations.
