Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a stern statement amid the ongoing escalation between Israel and Iran.
“We view the recent events as a blatant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The aggressive actions by the Zionist regime threaten not only regional stability but the entire international security system,” Araghchi declared.
According to him, Iran reserves the right to respond in accordance with international law: “We do not seek war, but we will not tolerate further acts of hostility against our citizens, scientific centers, and defense infrastructure.”
Araghchi also called on the international community not to remain silent: “Silence in the face of aggression encourages impunity. We expect a clear response from the United Nations and the countries that signed the JCPOA.”
The Iranian foreign minister emphasized that the future of the region should be shaped not by missiles but through diplomacy and respect for national sovereignty.
