Ukrainian authorities have reported five fatalities following Russian strikes in various parts of the country over the past day.
Vadym Filashkin, governor of the Donetsk region, confirmed that one person was killed and two others injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kramatorsk. According to him, Russian forces are continuing to advance westward across the region, and Kramatorsk could soon become a “key target” for their operations.
Additionally, two civilians were killed and three wounded in another town in the southern part of the Donetsk region as a result of further shelling.
Elsewhere, two women were reported killed near the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. Preliminary reports suggest that the attack was carried out using long-range artillery systems.
Ukrainian military officials state that the situation remains tense along the eastern and northeastern fronts, with continued heavy shelling by Russian forces.
