Iran: ‘No Talks While Israeli Aggression Continues’

Iran has ruled out the resumption of nuclear negotiations with Western powers, declaring that dialogue is “off the table” as long as Israeli military attacks on Iranian territory persist. Speaking from Geneva, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said: “No one will negotiate while aggression continues.”

The minister added that the latest Israeli airstrikes, which targeted multiple strategic sites across Iran, had inflicted a “devastating blow” to the diplomatic process. “We will not return to the table while the lives of our citizens are under threat,” Araqchi stated, accusing Israel of deliberately sabotaging diplomatic efforts.

Despite Iran’s strong language, official sources confirmed that Iranian diplomats are scheduled to meet today with representatives from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom in Geneva. The talks are aimed at evaluating possible pathways to de-escalation amid fears of broader regional instability.

The renewed tensions follow the largest Israeli military strike on Iranian soil to date. Tehran has blamed Washington for enabling the attack, claiming that it would not have occurred without U.S. approval. Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department has denied direct involvement, reiterating that the United States seeks a diplomatic solution.
