Vatican: Black Smoke Signals No New Pope Chosen Yet

Black smoke has emerged from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, indicating that the first round of voting in the papal conclave ended without a decision.

This traditional signal means that none of the candidates received the required two-thirds majority to be elected as the new Pope. The cardinals will reconvene for further rounds of voting until a new leader of the Catholic Church is chosen.
